This week we went on minibeast hunt. We used magnifying glasses to search for them in the tress and under leaves.

Maths

This week we have been counting to 100 and making numbers using tens and ones. We used the dienes together to make the numbers and write the tens and ones on our white boards.

Welly Time

This week in Welly Time we used stones to make artistic objects. We balanced smaller stones on top of bigger ones and made interesting patterns and shapes.

Let’s Connect Breakfast

This morning we enjoyed breakfast together as part of Children’s Mental Health Week.  All the boys had fun eating their packed breakfast and sharing their news from the weekend. Later we talked more about sharing and talking to our friends. The boys enjoyed creating ’connecting people’ together.

Weather Watchers

The little Leo’s are leading the way in helping the Pre Prep boys to monitor and watch the weather. Today was a cold and foggy day with a temperature of only 0 degrees!

Welly Time

This week in Welly Time we were talking about gravity in nature. We went on a nature walk and collected some natural items. Then we dropped them to the ground and talked about which ones landed the fastest and why. We liked the way they floated down or fell quickly, and how they landed as a natural picture.

Well-being Breakfast

We all enjoyed our well-being breakfast on Monday. What delicious breakfasts the boys brought in ! It was a lovely time to share and talk and the odd socks gave us all a smile !
