Sports Day
We had a fantastic morning of running, jumping, throwing and obstacles this morning. All the boys supported their team mates brilliantly and completed to their best. A massive well done to them all.
International Day
We had a fun filled, jam packed day of activities for International Day. We found out about Russian folk art and created our own Dymkovo toy designs, we decorated Chinese New Year plates and learnt some Spanish and Indian dances. In between we found time to learn a bit about Kenya and create our own class Kenyan flag!
We are looking forward to a well deserved rest this weekend!
Butterflies
Over the last three weeks we have seen our caterpillars eat and grow. They then went made chrysalis’s and have been wrapped up in them for 10 days. Today the first butterflies emerged. Their wings are going to dry out and we will release them next week. We will feed them fruit and sugar water to make them strong.
Coronation Lunch
Today we had a special coronation, street party picnic! We enjoyed wearing our crowns and waving our flags.
Zoolab
This week the children were lucky enough to get a visit from Zoolab. They got to meet and find out about some incredible creatures.
World Book Day
On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up and taking part in lots of fun activities. We designed our own bookmarks, wrote imaginative stories and though about our favourite books and people we love to share them with.
Friendship Web
We created a friendship web using string. The boys thought about reasons why they liked each other and passed the string around the class. They loved hearing why they were appreciated by their friends.

Titanic Seascapes
In Art this week, 1KO created beautiful seascapes using marbling. They then stuck a picture of the Titanic and an iceberg onto their scene.
We also watched a video showing us how to marble using shaving foam! Have a go at home if you like!

Building The Titanic!
We have been using clay to create models of The Titanic. The children started with a lump of clay then carefully modelled and designed their ships. We will be painting the next week.
